Happy Halloween!

Halloween was a fun, but very busy day. Andy, Jason and all the guys spent the day moving in our new neighbors ... the O'Kelleys now live just down the street!!!
Then it was on to chili, football, a house full of friends, and a bunch of cute little kids all dressed up to go trick-or-treating!

Weekend in Tennessee

We try to make as many trips as possible to Tennessee to visit Jason's family. With 3 nephews and 2 nieces involved in every sport you can imagine, there's almost always a game to go to. This weekend we got to watch Madalyn play soccer. It was a COLD morning so we were bundled up.

My First Baby Shower

My mom and sister gave me a BEAUTIFUL baby shower on Saturday. It was a small, family shower and I enjoyed every minute of it. The pictures don't even give justice to what a great job they did planning and decorating. Every detail was adorable. It meant so much to me to celebrate with such a loving family!!

3D Ultrasound

I have had several ultrasounds during this pregnancy thanks to a cautious doctor and also thanks to having some friends at the hospital that work in labor & delivery :) And everytime I am AMAZED that we are getting to look at a live picture of our little baby. From the beginning until 20 weeks I got a little spoiled with frequent ultrasounds, so this one seemed like a long time to wait. But it was SO worth it! Brooklyn cooperated very well & showed us her sweet little face, long fingers, cute feet, and started sucking her thumb for us. And it was extra-special to be able to have both of our families with us to see it all.

Wonderful Husband

In the middle of a CRAZY day at work, I got a call to come to the front desk... which usually isn't a good thing, but today it was. I found these gorgeous flowers with a sweet, sweet card; signed "Jason and Brooklyn". Every girl loves getting flowers just because!
Jason has been a more wonderful husband than I ever imagined he would be... and I had VERY high expectations :) And since I've been pregnant he's been even more thoughtful. When I work long, 12-hour shifts, Jason makes a point to help out with laundry or dishes, he makes sure that I've eaten dinner, makes sure I rest on my days off, takes care of me when I haven't felt good... oh, and I almost forgot to mention... takes me shopping after every doctor's appointment!!!
Jason, I love you and I am so thankful for you. Your little girl is gonnna have a wonderful daddy!

College Football

Last Saturday Jason and I went with my parents to the UGA vs LSU game in Athens. It was a perfect fall football day. ... I even caught Jason cheering for the Bulldogs a few times :)

New to this...

After talking about this for a long time... I decided it was finally time to start a blog. I LOVE reading other people's blogs, so hopefully someone will find this one just as interesting :)

Brooklyn Hope Evans is due to arrive on January 1st. We are so excited and so blessed!
