One Month Old

It's already been a month! I can't believe it. Even more, I can't believe how much Brooklyn has changed... it seems like almost on a daily basis. This first month has been a lot of learning and trial & error... figuring out how to take the best care of her we can. It's also been a month of falling more and more in love with her every single day!
Things about Brooklyn at 1 Month:
* She L-O-V-E-S to be held. She is a cuddle-bug for sure! I love that, but it makes it tough when she never wants to be laid down. However, I will take responsibility for that one... I prayed so much that we would have a cuddly baby, and God definitely answered that prayer :)
* She loves to be talked to. She will sit and look and listen forever if someone- especially her Daddy- is holding her and talking to her. (Jason says that she's just like me in that: hold me and talk to me and I'm great!)
* She loves bath time.
* When she does lay down by herself, she doesn't like to lay flat... so we now have a make-shift "positioner" in her crib... it's the changing pad elevated by the boppy with a blanket on top. That won't last too long, but it's what works for now!
* She likes tummy time. She's even able to pick her head up and turn it from one side to the other when she's on her tummy.
* She loves car rides.
* Most people think she looks like Jason.
* Already outgrown newborn diapers and newborn clothes!
* Gives us the sweetest smiles.
* Sadly, she's already had her first cold. So sad to hear a snotty nose in a newborn.

P.S. As an update-- the night of her one month "birthday" was her BEST night yet! She slept in her crib ALL night!
