Happy Easter

This Easter was so much fun!
The "Easter Bunny" came to our house a little bit early since we would be in TN on Easter morning.

Poor Brooklyn only got essentials in this year's Easter basket... teething toys, baby food containers, travel placemats, etc... all preparing for future needs. And Jason even got a baseball Easter basket (thanks to a $3 deal at WalMart)!

We started our Sunday morning by going to Nana and Pa Mike's church. Afterwards we stopped by a beautiful garden to take some pictures, then we had a big lunch a Casey's house. The weather was perfect, so all the kids had an Easter egg hunt and then a game of kickball in the front yard. Obviously Jason doesn't "take it easy" for the kids' sake... he ended up with a huge grass/mud stains on his shorts from sliding into second base :)

Brooklyn loves swinging on the porch with Pa Mike and Nana

Our first Easter as a family of 3!

Aunt Casey got Brooklyn to sleep... not a good idea to try to take pictures in the middle of nap time!

Granny Johnnie got Brooklyn a big bunny and she loved it!

Since Easter was the beginning of Spring Break, we were able to stay in TN for a few days. We visited lots of family and friends, relaxed, even sat out in the sun by the pool for a little while! Brooklyn was cuddled and loved and held and played with the whole time. Her cousins are so sweet with her- they all want to do anything to be with her and help out with her. And she loves them too... she doesn't want to miss out on anything when they're around!
