Fun at the Fair

Have I mentioned that Brooklyn LOVES horses?!
Obsessed is more like it.
So, needless to say, she was more than excited to get to ride a real pony.
If you ask her if she had fun at the fair, the first thing she'll say is "ride horses!".

I think we're gonna need to get her a cowboy hat :)
Second to horses, Brooklyn loves any other animal.
She was thrilled to get to hold and pet bunnies, goats, baby chicks, and much more!

The baby goats kept bumping into her and she would say "'scuse me, goat"

Jason and I were not sure how riding a ride by herself would go over, but we thought we'd try anyway.
He put her in "Memo" and walked away and the second the ride started Brooklyn was giggling and smiling from ear to ear!
I think Jason and I enjoyed it even more than she did... watching her have so much fun was the BEST.
We quickly turned into the proud, dorky parents waving at her from the fence :)

She enjoyed the carousel almost as much as the real horses!

We figured a special day deserved a special treat, so Brooklyn had her first funnel cake!
(One of mine and Jason's favorite things...
and probably one of the worst foods we could ever give her, but once a year won't hurt!)

We had an amazing afternoon with Brooklyn.
Experiencing the fair with her was wonderful...
Now we're imagining what it'll be like when all three girls are big enough to go!
