Twins ~ 2 Months

Look at those sweet faces!  They're getting so big so quickly!

Having twins is very busy (especially with a toddler too) but we are super blessed that Emma and Sophie are really good babies.  Don't get me wrong, they'll let us know if they need/want something, but overall they're both pretty laid back and happy girls!

Great news for Mommy and Daddy is that they're starting to sleep more at night!

They'll usually sleep about 6 hours, which is a dream compared to the up and down that we did for the first few months.  I really think Emma would sleep longer, but for my own sanity I make them both eat at the same time 

(maybe that's why she's so much bigger... Mommy is forcing her to eat!)

I didn't realize how much fun it would be to dress them alike :)

When people would ask me that before they were born, I'd always say "maybe sometimes" because I knew we had tons of Brooklyn and Hadley's hand-me-downs to make use of.  And we are definitely using them, but I love trying to find things that are at least coordinating.

Let's just say we'd be in trouble if I had all the time and money to dress the three of them alike each day! (I'm pretty sure Jason's rolling his eyes as he reads this!)

I also didn't realize how much attention you can draw when you're pushing a double stroller and carrying a toddler!  Oh. my. gosh.  I can feel the heads turning as I'm sure people are thinking "bless her heart" or "she must be out of her mind!".  And I probably am crazy for taking them out, but we've got to get out of the house or Brooklyn and I really would go crazy.  So it's worth the extra effort.

However, I know most people just love to look at a baby, and when there's two, its even more fun; and we love it when our girls can put a smile on anyone's face.

• 10 pounds, 5 ounces
• such a smiley baby!
• sleeps a lot during the day and then wants to play in the late evenings. she's gonna be a little night owl.
• twists and turns... its especially cute that every time she's held, she turns to look up at whoever is holding her.

~~ EMMA ~~

• 12 pounds, 6 ounces ... she's our chunky monkey :)
• EASY baby... stays on a routine very easily, great sleeper.
• loves to be held up to look around.
• she might be our soccer player... if she's awake, her little legs are kicking!
