Waking up with your own child on Christmas morning has to be one of the sweetest things ever!
The 3 of us opened presents as soon as Brooklyn woke up. She did love her toys, but I would say she had just about as much fun figuring out how to tear paper and crawl on top of boxes.
Shortly after, Papa, Nanni, Nana, Andy, Kristen, Luke and Hadley came over for breakfast.
(Brooklyn's the only one who hadn't quite made it out of her jammies yet)
Of course there were more toys than you could imagine, but I couldn't help but laugh at this picture:
My sweet Luke loved Brooklyn's Barbie 4-wheeler, even though he had a shiny new bike to ride.
I know when he's 16 years old, we'll all get a big kick out of that pitiful, sad face!
To her Daddy's GREAT joy, Brooklyn does love any kind of ball. And she was thrilled with this basketball goal from us (him!).
Who could ask for anything more fun than a beautiful, white, snowy Christmas?!
While we were at lunch at Grandma's house we got to go outside to play for a minute.
If it would've been up to Brooklyn, she'd have been sitting right down in it getting as messy as she could.
We had a wonderful Christmas! Completely overwhelmed with God's sweet blessings!
