The very first question I had for my doctor after being told to be on bed rest was
"Can I PLEASE go to the Easter egg hunt?!??"
And although she didn't love the idea, she allowed me one hour if I promised that I would do absolutely nothing else.
That was all I needed to hear. I did not want to miss my little munchkin hunting Easter eggs for the first time.
But it ended up that she almost missed it. Of all days to not be feeling great, she fell asleep super early on the way there...
But thankfully, we woke her up and she was happy and excited.
And she had a blast slowly picking up eggs and looking for candy!
!
I would have NEVER guessed that Brooklyn would've loved the Easter Bunny as much as she did!
She went right to him and did not want to leave him.
She even kept running after him wanting him to hold her!
Seeing her have so much fun definitely made my "one hour pass" well worth it!
