We haven't be able to spend a week at the beach for the past few years, so we have been looking forward to this trip SO much. And it was GREAT! Challenging at times (naps, crawling in & eating sand, multiple daily baths, etc.), but still a fun, wonderful week!
The first half of the week Nana Portia and Pa Mike were with us, and then Nanni and Papa came down for the rest of the week. (We knew we'd need several extra hands with 3 little ones). And they were each a HUGE help to have around, but so much more than that, it was a sweet blessing to be able to share such fun memories with our parents.
Here are a *few* of tons of pictures...

Yes, Brooklyn's horses traveled to the beach with us :) |

***TRUE STORY***
About a minute after this picture was taken, a SHARK (yep, shark! ... 5-6 foot long, big, scary thing) swam right in front of us!!! Scary stuff! Thankfully we were all able to get out quickly. And then we watched it circle back around again... not what you want to see, especially when you're holding your babies! |

We couldn't fit cornhole, so we opted for the smaller beanbag game... Jason KILLED everyone. He even said he'd play me with his eyes shut... and sadly enough, he still won! |
|
We loved the evenings playing outside. After the twins went to sleep, Brooklyn would run her little heart out (in her outfit of choice, as usual, just panties). |
