I know I've said it before...
but, by far, this has been the fastest year of my life.
I look back at pictures and can't believe that just months ago my big girls were so teeny-weeny. And the little swaddled-up newborns that napped most of the day are now busy, loud, interactive, happy girls. I'm so excited to plan their first birthday party, and at the same time, so sad that my tiny twins are growing up way too fast.
Emma and Sophie are both crawling everywhere. From room to room. Upstairs (scary!). Trying to dart out of any door that opens. And they're fast little boogers :)
They pull up to stand a lot, but neither one has yet taken a step.
They occasional give us a "kiss" by popping their mouth. And they think it's funny to fake cough.
And, again, thanks to a lot of Daddy play time, the twins love playing ball just like their big sister!
They pretty much hate to be fed baby food anymore... they much prefer feeding themselves finger foods. And we're still nursing 1-2 times per day, but no more bottles... we've gone straight to sippy cups and whole milk (a little early).
~~ EMMA ~~
She is still such an easy baby. Although she's definitely got a feisty side to her. She thinks it's funny to steal Sophie's pacy right out of her mouth and then try to put it back. And she'll let you know when she doesn't want something. She's now said "Papa" and we're pretty sure she's trying to say a lot more, but we're just not exactly sure what it is yet.
~~ SOPHIE ~~
(with her post-accident boo-boo's)
This stinker has had some major Mommy-attachment issues :) I think if she could crawl back into my belly she'd do it. Although if I'm not around, she's just fine.
She's become my best eater of all three! The littlest one and the biggest appetite!
She claps her hands all the time. If I'm going to get a cheerleader, I'm betting on this one :)
having fun together!
