We are counting our blessings for a WONDERFUL first year for Brooklyn! We honestly didn't know how this school thing was going to work out... Brooklyn is super shy around people she doesn't know and is pretty timid to jump into something without Mommy or Daddy holding on to her. But, school seems to be the one area that those things don't apply. Since DAY 1 she has never cried about going to school. And I thought she would be worn out on school days, but she has always come home busting with energy and excitement.
She loved her teachers, Mrs. Barbara and Mrs. Stephanie. And the only thing I really ever heard from them is that she had to go to time-out one time~ that I'm aware of (for taking her shoes off when she wasn't supposed to). And that she started every single day asking "are we gong to music class today?" and talking about "her horses".
It was also very special that her cousin, Hadley, and our friend, Bryson, were in her class.
We're so very grateful that this has been such a great year for her!
